USEFUL NEWS FOR PARTICIPATING CREWS 

Dear participant to the Grand Prix MINI 6.50,
 
Here below you’ll find some useful info and necessary procedures to be respected.
 The Yacht Club Italiano will be closed from 3rd to 5th April - Easter Holydays - (all of Italy will respect lock-down restrictions)
 
Arrival
 
Unlike the provisions of the Notice of Race, we remind you that we can receive the boats participating in the regatta, not earlier than April 6th.
 
Please communicate via email to regate@yci.it :

  • date of arrival of all participants
  • whether by land or by sea –
  • date of arrival of the boats –
  • where the participants will stay (hotels, apartments etc)

 
 
Mandatory health regulations
 
For those coming from outside Italy, it is mandatory to bring the report of a molecular pad made at least 48 hours before the date of arrival.
 
All participants will still be given an antigenic pad by the Organization upon arrival at the I Yacht Club Italiano.
 
A nursing unit will be present at the infirmary of the “Scuola di Mare” from 4.00 to 6.00 pm, every day from 6th to 9th April.
 
We kindly ask those who arrive before 4.00 pm or in any case outside the times indicated above, to stay in the outdoor areas.
 
Those who arrive before April 6th will have the possibility to do privately the test by contacting the Laboratorio Salus - Foce area- (Via Raffaele Gestro 21, Genoa tel. 010 586642) specifying that you are Mini Crew / prof. Melioli. The antigenic pad will be provided free of charge for skippers and co-skippers
 
We also remind you that it is necessary to complete the self-certification to have access to the YCI area (see attachment)
 
 
Secretariat – briefings & services
 
The Secretariat of the Mini Class, for tonnage checks, will be open from April 6thin the premises of “Scuola di Mare Beppe Croce” at YCI as per the NoR.
 
The Race Secretariat will be open from Thursday 8th April at 2.00 pm, on the first floor of the YCI Headquarters.
 
Toilets will be accessible at the Scuola di Mare Beppe Croce, but changing rooms will be unusable
 
We remind you that to date Government directives do not allow restaurants and bars to be open, so we suggest to order takeaway food, which deliver to the YCI gate where you should go for collection.
 
The briefings will take place inside the YCI Headquarter, on the second floor and via webinar on Wednesday 7th at 05.00pm and Friday 9th at 05.00pm
Tracking devices will be delivered on April 10th in the area in front of the quay.
 
As a new Prime Ministerial Decree will be issued on April 6th, by the Italian Government Authorities, we recommend you to consult the Race website in order to get last information regarding Covid possible further restrictions.
